MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGIST – CT/General

Envision Medical Imaging is a premium service provider in medical imaging which specialises in cardiac, chest, dental, oncology and musculoskeletal imaging as well as offering a full complement of general services.  Our radiologists, technologists and support staff are amongst the best in their field and we are looking for a full time or part time (minimum 3 days/week) person to complement our experienced CT/General/Dental Technologist team.

We are seeking someone who will provide a welcoming, professional and courteous service to our patients and family.  Envision maintains state-of-the-art equipment and currently uses Siemens CT, PET and XR equipment.

Major features of the role:

• A daily scan mix including MSK, cardiac, neuro and dental
• Cannulation and decannulation of patients
• Wembley based with regular rotation to our Booragoon clinic
• Flexible roster including rotations on a Saturday at Wembley clinic 8am-1pm
• Rotation through our PET suite to support our nuclear imaging team
• Private based practice with supportive team of experienced radiologists

For this role the successful applicant will require:

• General all round skills
• CT angiography & workstation experience essential
• Dental (OPG and Cone beam) experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a practicing radiographer
• PACS/RIS and digital experience
• Enthusiasm to learn and a can-do attitude
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• Empathy and strong customer service approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work as part of a fast paced team environment
• A desire to maintain professional development regarding current techniques and safety
• Legal approval to live and work in Australia
• AHPRA and state registrations

Hours are varied with rostered shifts between 7.30am and 5:30pm weekdays and Saturday coverage between 8am and 1pm.
